I seriously don't see why this game would score more than an 8 maybe 9. No way, more than what the first did. I mean it looks the same as the first. And if they haven't fix the shooting then...yeah.

I'm sure MS is working on something. I wish they'd hurry up though, I've been waiting to use my 360 as a DVR since '06.
As much money as they're making, their online should be 100x better than what it is and they should be cranking out way more titles than they are. I love the Nintendo brand, but I'm not blind to the fact that they're more than likely counting their money as opposed to producing anything up to snuff of what the competition is offering. Unfair? You mentioned Folklore, which I also think is fantastic, that game is a prime example of people listening to reviews and a great game gets sh*tted on. To me that was the beginning of Hi-def rpg's that I was expecting from Sony this gen, but the Sony fans decided to skip it and the result is what we have today. Too many shooters instead of the galore of rpgs that the PS2 had.

Thats one thing I don't condone and thats taking away something that I paid for. Whether I use it or not makes no difference, I paid for it. Companies should do a survey about this kind of stuff before taking actions because then they would be able to get an idea of what type of backlash they could expect. Even then I don't think it would help, but taking something I paid for is a no-no.
Its not really a big deal if you don't like a game. But to have to explain yourself through such a paragraph of notions is kind of...lame. Anyway, I'm not a big Halo fan either, but I do realize what people like about the games. Overall, Halo is a great franchise, but I have other preferences. Big sigh of relief, I'm sorry but I'm a huge Aliens and Predator fan and if this would've bombed hard...I don't know what I would've done.
I felt like this franchise has been ran into the ground and this game, along with the Robert Rodriguez's flick(Predator flick) thats coming, would be the only hope of re-energizing the franchise.
I haven't even finished my first play through, although I'm a little over 30 hours in, and I'm already thinking about my next play through...
